Step into the magical world of Disney's Descendants 5: Wicked Wonderland in this exciting musical theater class designed for young performers! Students will learn songs, dances, and acting scenes inspired by the newest Descendants adventure while building confidence, creativity, and stage presence in a fun and supportive environment.
This is not a full musical production. Instead, students will perform a fun musical mix (mashup) featuring a collection of songs, dances, and acting scenes inspired by the movie. This format allows performers to experience a variety of characters and memorable moments from Descendants 5 without the commitment of rehearsing a full-length musical. It's perfect for both beginners and experienced performers who love Descendants!
At the end of the 7 week session, students will showcase everything they've learned in a special performance for family and friends, bringing favorite moments from Descendants 5: Wicked Wonderland to life on stage!

What is the difference between Musical Theater Explorers (Beginners) and a full musical production?
In a Mashup class we learn songs and acting scenes in class then put them together to create a performance that showcases what was learned in class. No characters are assigned, and all lines and songs will primarily be practiced during class, so it is not required that students put additional time into memorizing at home.
In a full musical production, students are given a full script and audition for characters. Actors are responsible for memorizing all of their lines and songs, which requires some additional practice at home.
In BOTH classes your child will be sure to do tons of dancing, singing, acting and have fun while building confidence and working together towards the final performances!
